Our Farm
Restoring the eco-balance of the land and maintaining soil integrity are guiding principles on our farm and estate in Italy. From the initial planting of 200,000 trees in the formal gardens and orchards, to the elevation of our 270-acre property to organic standards, we are resolute in our dedication to sustainability. Our farm is home to free-range chickens, sheep, honeybees and alpacas, as well as abundant wildlife. Vineyards, fruit trees, a nut field and an extensive vegetable and herb garden have been thoughtfully interspersed with the natural habitat, which includes over 100 acres of rolling green pastures and forests. In addition to providing our restaurants with organically-grown seasonal bounty, our farm provides a medley of fresh ingredients for Seed to Skin. Sheep’s milk, honey and herbs such as rosehip, lavender, calendula, peppermint, rosemary and hypericum are just some of the essential elements used in the creation of our unique skincare collection.

At Seed to Skin Tuscany, we create highly effective, nutrient-rich skincare using only the purest botanicals and raw ingredients found in nature. Throughout our product line we incorporate herbs, honey and sheep’s milk directly from our certified organic farm at Borgo Santo Pietro in the heart of Tuscany. What we don’t grow ourselves we source from a highly selective group of environmentally conscious micro-producers and wild foragers on land and at sea. Healthy soil and clean water are non-negotiable, as they guarantee the superlative quality of Seed to Skin Tuscany and represent the foundation of our brand integrity.

From sourcing to formulation, production to packaging, we make no compromises when it comes to sustainability. Our skincare ingredients come directly from our organic farm in Tuscany, or are ethically sourced or wild-foraged from land and sea, and our entire line is cruelty-free. We don’t use any synthetic fillers or preservatives in our products, nor do they contain artificial colours or fragrances, parabens or GMOs. Outsourcing is not an option. Each step of production takes place at our onsite laboratory, ensuring not only the highest quality and traceability, but also directly supporting the local community. Even our green glass jars are filled by hand at Borgo and can be recycled or reused to minimise environmental impact.

Our Founder
I have been working with natural remedies for over 17 years. During my many years of studying natural medicine, I found that there is still so much untapped potential for natural ingredients within the realm of skincare. Until very recently, the beauty industry could typically be split into either all-natural/organic or high-tech science. No one seemed to be effectively blending the two. That is why I decided to create a skincare line that would contain a wealth of natural benefits but wouldn’t sacrifice efficacy. Over the past five years, I have collaborated with a team of experts at our on-site laboratory at Borgo Santo Pietro. Together we have combined my knowledge of natural ingredients with their expertise to form a natural molecular system, where nature meets science.
Our Cosmetic Scientist
Our Cosmetic Scientist, Dr. Anna Buonocore, has contributed breakthrough know-how to the development of Seed to Skin Tuscany. Her expertise, which includes a Ph.D. from the University of Siena in both Pharmacy and Cosmetic Science and Technology, as well as years of laboratory experience, has been adeptly merged with Jeanette’s comprehensive knowledge of natural medicine to create our revolutionary skincare formulas. “The satisfaction I derive from creating formulas with these exceptional ingredients is immense, and so is giving individual care and attention to each product, one by one. Our Global Operations Manager
Our Global Operations Manager, Terry Prager, has worked in the spa and beauty industry for over 30 years for brands including Espa, La Prairie, and Ritz-Carlton. Most recently, she held the role of executive director of spas for Natura Bissé in the U.S. Prager intends to strengthen and expand Seed to Skin Tuscany's brand portfolio across the three channels – spa, retail, and e-commerce – while growing the Seed to Skin Tuscany team. "It's truly a wonderful opportunity to be able to work with such a luxury natural skincare brand alongside owners who have true passion and integrity in everything they do."
Our Aromatherapist
Lindsay Woodman's passion for the healing properties of plants led her to train with the London School of Aromatherapy. She now has over 20 years of expertise working as a bespoke perfumer and examiner for the International Federation of Aromatherapists. She distills plants from her beloved garden and also teaches midwives aromatherapy for childbirth. Her excellent nose and attuned approach create exquisite blends for Seed to Skin Tuscany. “It’s wonderful to design gorgeous aromas for Seed to Skin Tuscany as the brand has such integrity, and believes, as I do, that skincare products should be 100% bio-active, ensuring that every single ingredient contributes beneficially to the body.”
Our Production Manager
Seed to Skin Tuscany Production Manager, Cristina Guidarelli, has a degree in Cosmetic Science and Technology from the University of Siena. She brings her experience and passion for natural skincare to our laboratory where she manages all steps of production, from handmaking our formulas to packaging the final product. “I was drawn to Seed to Skin Tuscany because of the high quality of its products and the extensive research and development behind the brand. I’ve always been passionate about natural ingredients and how they can benefit the skin and health, so Seed to Skin Tuscany’s philosophy really mirrors my personal values.”

Clinical trials carried out by Merieux NutriSciences have proven that after using our daily skincare ritual* for a 30-day period, there is a visible increase in skin regeneration.
*Daily skincare ritual: The Alche’Mist, The Cure, and The Midnight Miracle, when used in combination, provide clinically proven efficacy. Controlled testing was carried out on women aged 46-63, morning and evening.
